After a dull and overcast start to the day, the clouds parted and the sunshine streamed through to show off the heritage village in the best possible lights to the swarms of visitors who thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.

There was a large and varied array of stalls to peruse for those in search of a bargain or simply a tasty cake or bun!

Many were just happy to bask in the sun and spectate as the line dancers and Irish dancers took to the stage.

A highlight of the day was the fancy dress parade with many unsual costumes on show.

A sizeable sum was raised for Church funds but with donations still coming in the final total is yet to be confirmed.

Everyone involved in the organisation of the summer fair would like to thank all the visitors and artists who came along to provide entertainment for their support.
