Fil is a well known singer. She’s a regular performer on the European and American folk circuit and she’s thrilled to be brining her show ‘ Just A Song At Twlight’ to Portstewart.

Together with percussionist Tom McFarland and Sligo mandolin player Brendan Emmett, Fil will be singing a collection of songs that will have you singing along from the first note.

With her beautiful voice she breathes new life into songs that were originally recorded by women singers like Delia Murphy and Bridie Gallagher - like The Homes of Donegal, The Connemara Cradle Song, I Know My Love, My Singing Bird, and Love’s Old Sweet Song to name but a few.

These were the songs that generations of Irish people grew up with and Fil is true to the original style of the songs.
