Boat trip in memory of Michelle

Being run by Gobbins Cliffs Sea Tours in memory of Michelle, trips will depart on that date from Portmuck for a journey lasting approximately one hour on the ‘North Irish Diver’.

Those who step aboard in support of the Michelle Peacock Foundation will cruise around Muck Island where they can look out for seals and porpoises before zooming off to the renowned Gobbins Cliffs.

Gobbins Cliffs Sea Tours also provide the opportunity to see “Wyse’s Eye” - the entry tunnel cut through the Basalt Rock face in 1902 to access the cliffs and to cruise along the 23 bridges and spans on the path itself taking photos on the way.

Passengers also have the chance to get close up to the iconic Tubular Bridge, the Sub-Sea Tunnel, the Suspension Bridge, the Seven Sisters Caves, and Trump Cave - Phreatic Passage & Kraken Cave (the legendary home of the famous giant “Gobbin Saor”) plus lots of features a walking tour simply can’t see.

Indeed, with the Gobbins Cliff Path currently closed temporarily due to ongoing essential maintenance, the trips will provide a great opportunity to visit the famous coastal feature - from an entirely different angle!

The first trip on Saturday, October 1, departs at 11am and the last trip at 4pm (approxmiately).

A safety briefing is included and suitable clothing is advised for weather on the day.

The special prices ‘for October 1 only’ are £20 for adults, £15 for children & concessions, and under three’s go free.

Michelle sadly passed away on February 27, 2013, as she lost her brave battle with cervical cancer.

Any money raised through tickets purchased for the trips on Saturday, October 1 will be donated back into the community to help other young people, children and families going through a cancer diagnosis, treatment or remission.
