Pop up shop and fundraiser success!

BCW in Ballycastle would like to say thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser and the pop up shop on Tuesday, June 28.

It was a great success and BCW Training were overwhelmed at how generous everyone was. All the young people loved the day and it was a fantastic boost for BCW Training in increasing awareness and all the services they provide in the community. Thank you to all who donated jewellery, scarves and handbags it was very much appreciated.

Anne Marie Doherty a BCW staff member explained: “The trainees at BCW who are doing their NVQ Level 2 in Retail were responsible for the project and worked hard to set up the shop and display the stock. They were fantastic from start to finish, this included marketing, awareness raising and selling stock.

“Remember our pop up shop is still open so if you wish to come up for a wee look or you can make an appointment with our trainees for a hair cut or nails done at any time. Proceeds from the day went to the SMILES Foundation, a Christian Charity providing help and support to the poor in Romania and to help fund my mission trip to Romania on 15th July to help out.”
