Mini legends coming to Gracehill this weekend

The newest event in the area has finally arrived when the Mini Legends descend upon Gracehill House at the Dark Hedges this weekend.

Whilst fans of the classic Mini will flock to the location to catch sight of these iconic cars, it’s not all about motor cars.

The official Start of the Rally is at Gracehill from 10am on Saturday 4th June when competitors will compete a half mile route around Gracehill before heading off to Ballycastle Forest Park.

With the unique sound of the vehicles’ straight cut gear box echoing in people’s ears they’ll travel via Torr Head to Cushendun where they will have a regroup followed by lunch at the National Trust’s Glenmona House and then onwards to Glendun.

They’ll then head back to Gracehill via the famous Dark Hedges where they’ll repeat the morning’s special stage around the Estate and then to the Finishing Line.

On Sunday it’s a Family Fun Day with Cromore Castles bringing along some of their unique collection of inflatable and self-contained amusement vehicles. Numerous stalls and stands have booked and of course there will be something amounting to a food village.

Entertainment on the day will be provided by Brian Moore .

Admission to the public is free whilst those wishing to bring along their classic or unusual vehicles can do so for a mere tenner. All profits to the Air Ambulance Fund.

The Mini Legends Paddy Hopkirk MBE, Rauno Aaltonen, Terry Harryman and Mike Wood will all be there.
