A major sale of approximately 1000 lots takes place next week at McAfee Auctions Ballymoney Rooms.

The sale scheduled for Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th February at 6.30pm each evening includes contents of several local properties and as well as the normal antique and general household furnishings there are lots of longcase, wall and mantle clocks.

Nice pieces of furniture include a very good walnut mirror backed shaped front credenza, several bureau bookcases, a large oak refectory style dining table, fine carved lidded chest, double pedestal writing desk, two chair sets, old drop leaf table and two door ebonised bookcase.

Paintings include works by George Gillespie, Aylmer Armstrong, Donal McNaughton, Jack Wilkinson, R. Keefer, G. W Morrison, Liam Reilly, Gregory Moore plus much more.

The sale also includes 50 lots of jewellery including two private collections of 18ct and 9ct Gold, Emerald, Diamond, Garnet and Sapphire Rings. Other lots include two violins in cases, electric organ, iron gates, upright piano, lots of old vintage tools and accessories, lots of new tools, new pressure washer, wall mirrors, light fittings, Samsung flat screen T.V, framed set of Masonic medals, barometers including an admiral Fitzroy barometer, a very nice cased 19 ½ lb Salmon, piano stools, old shop till, old luggage, old riding boots, gas mask kits, table lamps, old bibles, photo albums etc.
