It's '˜All SySTEMs Go' for our local Year 10 pupils

Ulster University is bringing together more than 700 Year 10 school pupils over the next two days.

The aim of the event is for the children to enjoy activities ranging from rocket building to crime scene investigation, showing science, technology, engineering and maths in a new light.

The programme entitled ‘All SySTEMs Go’ allows pupils from throughout the province to develop their practical science, engineering and technology ability.

They was also create these abilities alongside their innovation, creativity and problem solving skills.

The event aims to make STEM subject areas and associated future career opportunities more appealing to young people.

It is hoped that the programme will have a positive impact on their aspirations and their long term involvement in education.
