Clarence Players in hilarious seaside play

Belfast's Clarence Players will present thje first play in Leslie Sands' trilogy of seaside capers at the Seaview Guest House at Portrush Summer Theatre this week.

The fantastically funny play, “ Beside The Seaside” features tyrannical landlady Mrs Austin who terrorises her lodgers with her bread and butter pudding.

Meanwhile newlyweds Mr and Mrs Pepper realise that marriage is no honeymoon and Wilf and Ethel Pearson try to prevent their daughter Sally from running off with a local ‘theatrical’ trickster.

The usual Summer Theatre chaos abounds in this fantastically funny play set in a stormy seaside resort.

“Beside The Seaside” will run from August 3-6 at Portrush Town Hall, nightly at 8pm.

24-27 August: DON’T TELL THE WIFE by Sam Cree - Lambeg Players (Belfast).
