Bernard goes red and yellow

On Saturday, October 8 business man and entrepreneur Bernard Sparkes, will be dyeing his hair and beard red and yellow to raise funds for the new HEMS air ambulance for Northern Ireland.

Bernard is the managing director of Ballymoney firm Tubby Brands Ltd and the co-creator of the children’s cartoon Shelltown™ featuring Ronan Keating, Bernard is also the man behind the Board game Convoy The Card Strategy Game™.

This is quite a bold move by Bernard as he will be traveling to both London and Cannes in the following day and weeks to large industry shows and the dye being used is a permanent one. Bernard’s aim is to raise money and awareness for the vital new service for Northern Ireland, the only area in the UK that does not have a dedicated helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS).
