57th Annual Convention at Church of God

The opening service will be held on Saturday evening, 22nd October at 6:30pm followed by a delicious supper in the Youth Hall.

This special weekend will continue on Sunday with two further services at 11:30am and 6:30pm.

The guest speaker for the Convention is Pastor Roland Baker, (U.S.A.).

Pastor Roland was formerly Senior Minister at Auburn Hills Apostolic Church, Pontiac, Michigan, U.S.A. He is a vibrant preacher of God’s Word, who always challenges, inspires and leaves plenty of food for thought. Sharing over the weekend will be our Choir, Praise Team, Singers and Musicians. In order to cater for all the family there will be a special Kids’ Club during Saturday and Sunday evening services for the 3-7 year olds. For families with smaller children the Church Nursery offers a video link facility.

Over the years this annual event has attracted people of all ages from all denominations and walks of life and promises to be a Spiritual Feast of teaching and challenge. Come and be part of this great Convention of Spiritual Empowerment and Renewal.

* The Girls’ Brigade held a Coffee Morning for Macmillan on Saturday andthe total raised was £1,100.
