Once again there was success for Loughgiel Shamrocks GAC as the Loughgiel Intermediate panel have secured their slot in the Ulster Junior Camogie final beating Ballela with a scoreline of 2-8 to 2-4.

Lough giel had booked a place in the semi finals after beating Derrylaughan 2-04 Loughgiel 7-09.

Loughgiel dominated the game in the first half but Ballela gave everything they had after the ref blew the whistle to commence the second half. It was the girls in red & white who held on to progress to the final.

Loughgiel now await the winners of Castleblayney v Lackin in the Ulster Junior Final scheduled for Sunday 18th October 2015 at a venue yet to be confirmed.

UNDERAGE

Loughgiel Under-6, Under-8 and Under-10 hurlers rounded of their year at training on Sunday morning. The lads were joined by Odhran McFadden and Liam Watson of Loughgiel senior panel who put them through their paces.

The session ended with a presentation and the lads each were given a sliothar for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
