Loughgiels Shamrocks have a star in Róisín McCormick after she traveled to Port Laois to represent Antrim in the All Ireland Feile Na nGael skills.

Roisin got second place in the competition which is a fantastic achievement.

Róisín went into the competition as the 2015 Antrim Feile Skills Champion, she was also the 2014 Antrim Feile Skills Champion, however due to the success of the Loughgiel U14 girls in the Division 1 Camogie Feile in 2014, Róisín opted to choose her team and played a major role when the girls claimed a third All Ireland title for the Shamrocks and were crowned the All Ireland Division 1 Camogie Feile Champions for 2014.

Róisín was a main stay for Loughgiel U14’s in 2014 when they collected the titles of U14 League Champions and U14 Antrim County Champions.

She also starred for the U16 Loughgiel Camogie Panel lifting the titles of U16 League Champions, U16 Feis Champions & Antrim County Champions.

Róisín also was named as U14 player of the year for 2014 with her team mates Amy Boyle and Charley McCarry.

Already this year Róisín is the proud owner of an Antrim County and Ulster Feile medal.

This talented young Shamrock was a member of the Antrim U14 panel in 2014 and continues to play for Antrim in 2015.

Everyone at Loughgiel Shamrocks GAC is very proud.
