The Ulster equestrian team returned home triumphantly last week from the All Ireland Games in Limerick. 12th-15th June.

Four Gold, one Silver, three Bronze, three fourth and one sixth. All six came home with a medal and ribbons.

An early start on Friday and Saturday morning to Clonshire Equestrian Centre.

On Friday morning they selected their mounts then commenced the English Equitation in the afternoon. All six athletes rode well but it was not until the next morning that the results were posted.

The Working Trail competition ran on saturday morning, All the athletes completed the course Maeve Robb’s pony had a mind of its own but Maeve keep cool and persevered around the course and got a great cheer from the spectators,

All six athletes rode well and enjoyed themselves in what was a great experience. They now await selections for next year in Los Angeles.

Fran Warden Head Coach was delighted with the results after seven months of training at the Causeway Coast Arena. It was all worthwhile.
