KK McArthur race extended

The organisers of the Kennedy Kane McArthur Festival of Running have extended the closing date for entries into the event. Online entries will now close at noon on Monday 16 July and postal entries on Wednesday 11 July.

Assistant Race Director Kenny Bacon said: “We have a lot of entries come in the past week and had enquires from runners looking to run the marathon after a marathon on the same day was cancelled.”

There are almost 370 competitors registered in the three races. This includes 12 entries from Tlokwe City Council, Potchefstroom, South Africa who will be running the 10K in 1912 style kit.

Anyone interested in the running any of the three races can enter online at www.athleticsni.org or by downloading an entry form from www.springwellrunners.com .
