Great Ferguson strike seals victory over Knock

After a slow start to the new year Ballymoney 2nd XI came out fighting on Saturday 28th January when they played host to Knock at the Joey Dunlop Centre.

Ballymoney started well and had the majority of the possession with some great play and early chances from Laura McCurdy and Nicola Sergeant.

Emma Kirkpatrick scored a fantastic goal that was disallowed after as it was deemed to be a dangerous shot.

Knock were proving to be a strong team and the game remained goalless at half time.

Ballymoney continued to play strongly and took their chance with a great goal from Cara Ferguson after a well placed cross from Lauren Mullan.

Ballymoney defended well and Danielle Stewart had an outstanding game in goals, leaving the final score 1-0 to the toon.
