Cushendun Emmets staged a great second-half comeback to snatch victory from the grasp of Louth side Mattock Rangers in Saturday’s final of the Ulster Hurling Leauge Division 4 at Casement Park.

Cushendun appeared to be in trouble at half-time when they went in trailing by 2-2 to 0-2. Dominic Magee and Conleith McNeill getting their only scores of the half. However after the change of ends things began to happen for the Emmets and early points from Rory and Eoin McQuillan got them going. Points from Eoin Magee and Oisin McMahon followed by two from Conleith McNeill frees put Cushendun on top and though they had to survive a few scares in the final minutes they held on to take the victory by a two point margin.
