Despite the blustery conditions Invictus triathlete, Cormac McGarry from Ballycastle made an impressive victory in the men’s sprint race category at the Acti-Snack Lough Neagh Triathlon.
The popular event, held in Ballyronan, took place on Saturday 16th August attracting over 300 competitors from across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Cormac said, “I am delighted to have won the Lough Neagh Triathlon. I would like to thank the event organisers and sponsors for such a great experience.
“As a triathlete I put my body through intense training on a regular basis and it is vital that I replenish my energy levels healthily. On the day, the Acti-Snack sampling team were on hand to keep competitors and their support teams supercharged with the energy on the go, mixed fruit, nut and seeds snack. Every entrant also received a goody bag complete with Acti-Snack products.
