Bushmills and District also run a Most Improved Club of the Year competition where the previous three years results are averaged and compared to this season’s results which is a prize which evens out the ability of each club within the league while at the same time it is still achievable by all the clubs although if a club has had a good run in the previous three years it does make it slightly harder, so at the half way point in the season it is just a little reminder that all points and shots accumulated from will make a difference and each club can set their own target.

Getting 100% means a club is performing the same as previous three years and winning percentages range from 104% to 126% and although there will be many snakes and ladder results between now and the final result this is tabling out as: Bowling Club Current Average-3 Year Average-Club of the Year; Dunluce Parish 2.57 1.72 149.41; Ballywatt 5.06 3.55 142.61; Armoy 4.25 3.49 121.67; Dunluce Pres 3.50 3.10 112.79; Benvarden 5.81 5.84 99.54; Trinity 1.63 1.87 86.83; Bushmills 3.08 3.79 81.37; Carncullagh 1.64 2.41 68.08.
