From the throw-in Conor McFerran popped over a point to leave 2 in it and a McNeill free 5 minutes into the 2nd half cut the Moneyglass lead to a point. Eamonn McNeill levelled the game from a free before a long range Joey Quinn effort put Rasharkin into the lead for the first time in the 50th minute. A Colum Duffin point from play brought the sides level with less than 10 to play. Duffin put Moneyglass a point up from a 20m free with only 2 minutes left. Rasharkin almost snatched it at the death with a Conor McFerran goal effort going inches wide. Rasharkin weren’t done and a final attack in injury time yielded 2 45’s but the men from Dreen were unable to get the score to level matters.
