DUNLOY 3 RATHCOOLE2

Dunloy were up against a team in from but got off the a terrific start with John John McFerran putting them in front with only four minutes played.

After this play settled down and at half-time the single goal separated the teams.

John John McFerran scored his second goal in the game on the 50th minute to double the Dunloy advantage then on the 52nd minute Rathcoole got a deserved goal.

Dunloy went two goals clear for a second time after Brendan McGarry scored on the 70th minute then saw Rathcoole narrow the gap with their second goal on the 81st minute.

Rathcoole then tried hard to get the equaliser but Dunloy held firm to claim the win.

DERVOCK 2

Ballybogey and Dervock played out a cup game at Megaw Park with ‘Bogey emerging as 4 - 2 winners in a good game for the spectators.

The Dervock scorers were Robert Patton and Sammy McConaghie while Ballybogey’s were James McLaughlin, Mervyn Nicholl, Gareth Henry and Tommy Elder.

This was a really good game and typical derby where both teams really went all out for the victory.
