Stranocum Youths player Corey Jaminson (pictured) has been selected to attend a top IFA coaching scheme.

Corey had been taking part in the IFA/DENI Curriculum Sports Programme. This aims to develop Fundamental Movement Skills and get children active and learn about a healthly lifestyle.

In recognition of Corey’s ability and having received the Player of the Year award, the IFA invited Corey to represent his school at a regional and national event being run by the Irish FA. These events will be organised and run by qualified Irish FA staff.

The regional event will take place on Saturday 16th June at the University of Ulster Jordanstown from 09.45am to 12.30pm.

This will involve coaching and matches.

The national event will take place at the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena, Cookstown on Saturday 23rd June from 09.45am to 12.30pm.

This day will be for matches against other regions.
