“I hope it’s the beginning of a good and successful relationship,” said James.

“The streets of Coleraine were lined for tonight’s opening parade for the SuperCupNI, and if they can come here and get it into their minds to come back and support the club on a regular basis then that will be fantastic.

“I think parents have forgotten that connection and tradition, it’s such a strong and warm bond.

“My childhood was all about going and watching Irish League football it’s just a question of tapping into that again.

“I think the IFA have a responsibility also to make sure it’s a family package and that there’s not too much football being played at 3pm on a Saturday so they can come along and what the Irish League games.”

Club Chairman, Colin McKendry, thanked James for his contribution to the club.

“We’re delighted to begin this new partnership with James and his company G&H Film and Television Services, and I hope it’s as long and as successful as our previous sponsors TBF Thompson,” he said.

“It’s fantastic that he has shown such an interest in the club, he actually approached the club about helping out.

“We hope to make this a long term partnership, and as I say a very successful one for both parties.”
