Ballybogey beat UUC Reserves 2-0 to keep their 100% record in the Coleraine & District Morning League on Saturday at the Joey Dunlop Centre.

It was a good first half with both teams playing good football, but good goalkeeping kept the game goalless at halftime .

The ‘Bogey went one up when good quick thinking by Tommy Elder picked out James McLaughlin from a free kick, and the striker did what he does best and hammered the ball into the goal giving the UUC ‘keeper no chance.

Ballybogey could have went further ahead but good keeping and defending by UUC kept the score down.

New signing Gareth Henry made it two when he got hold of the ball in the box turned the defender and put the ball into the goal to seal the game for Ballybogey.

This Saturday Ballybogey travel to Antrim to play Abbeyview in the County Antrim Junior Shield. This will be a tough test as the Antrim side are one of the top teams in the Ballymena League.
