Riada FC made a good strong start in their league encounter with Magheraflet Reds.

Riada went a goal up after 20 minutes when Andrei Graur put the ball in the net with an impressive header.

Magherafelt Reds had some good play but they were unable to score.

With approximately 42 minutes on clock, James McGoldrick got in on goal and played a 1-2 with the Reds keeper to score on his second attempt and leave the half time score 2-0 to Riafa FC.

Both teams had good start to second half, however the Reds had a good chance to pull one back but the ball just went wide of the goal.

Riada had a few more opportunities before James McGoldrick broke down the left wing played the ball with outside of the foot to put Andrei Graur in on goal to finish well and make it 3-0 to Riada FC.

The Reds had a few more goal attempts but the Riada defence stood firm and they saw the game out to secure a good three points
