Glebe Rangers will face local rivals Ballymoney United in their final friendly at the Riada Stadium this Saturday.

It will be a good test for the sides before their respective leagues kick off.

The game will get underway at 3pm.

Jason Wilmont’s side entertained Newbuildings in their penultimate pre season friendly last Saturday.

The match was played at the Riada stadium, where the pitch was in immaculate condition.

This turned out to be a good workout for both teams.

Glebe won the game 3-0 but a lot of credit has to go to a very youthful Londonderry outfit.

The goals came from Rangers’ front two combination of the experienced Ricky Dunlop and the youthful Luke Mitchell.

Dunlop helped himself to a brace, and young Luke grabbed his first goal for the club.

Dunlop was alos on the score sheet in the recent friendly against Queen’s.

Glebe ran out 3-1 winners on the day with Willy Beckett and Josh Elliott scoring the other two goals.

The Ballymoney side had five teenagers in their line up.
