Elder stunning strike helps Glebe to victory

GLEBE RANGERS 3

ANNAGH UNITED 1

GLEBE built themselves up nicely for this weekend’s home clash with league leaders Knockbreda with a comfortable 3-1 success against Annagh.

Peter Kennoway gave Rangers the lead after ten minutes when he netted from close range and there then followed a double from Tommy Elder including a spectacular overhead kick which will live long in the memory at the Riada Stadium.

Annagh had Shea Campbell sent off and although they had pulled a goal back to make it 2-1 at one stage, Glebe scored the insurance goal to make it safe.

* Glebe lottery numbers this week are 10, 13, 20. No winners of the £225 and next week the prize is £300.

* Glebe play Knockbreda at the Riada Stadium this Saturday (3pm) whilst Ballymoney United, who did not have a game at the weekend, are away to Moyola Park.
