CLOUGH RANGERS ATH 1 NEWTOWNE 1
This was very close game and at the end a share of the points was probably fair to both teams who both battled hard for the entire ninety minutes. Newtowne took the lead on the 10th minute after Gary Moore scored but after this had to withstand a lot of Clough pressure. Half-time was almost reached when David Nicholl fired home a deserved equaliser for Clough on the 43rd minute setting the game up well for the second half. The pace of the game never slackened during the second half and though both teams created chances in the second half no goals were scored resulting in appoint to each at the end. Referee Mr. Steven Gregg
DUNLOY 1 RASHARKIN UNITED 1
Dunloy were on the attack straight from the kick off and went in front after Sean McMullan scored on the 2nd minute. Rasharkin took a bit of time to settle after this early goal but got back on level terms after Ryan Boyd scored on the 34th minute and at half-time they were still level. The second half saw both teams create numerous chances but no goals came from this resulting in a draw. Referee Mr. Paul Doherty
JUNIOR DIVISIONS LEAGUE GAMES DIVISION ONE
MALLUSK ATHLETIC 3 B’MONEY UTD RES 4
Ballymoney with this win moved to the top of the league table but it was mighty close as it was a very late goal that gave them the win. Matt Fegan then put Mallusk in front on the 32nd minute and a third goal scored by Michael Frew on the 38th minute. Ballymoney reduced the deficit on the 45th minute after Nathan Patton scored with a fee kick. Ballymoney pushed hard for the equaliser in the second half and this came with Conor Reid scoring his second goal in the game on the 70th minute. Both teams then went for the winning goal after this then with a draw on the cards up popped Conor Reid to complete his hat-trick on the 89th minute to win the game for Ballymoney which was a bit harsh on Mallusk who certainly gave a very good account of themselves. Referee Mr. Jason Reaney
