Ballybogey defeated Dervock on Saturday morning in the top of the table clash in the Coleraine Morning League .
It was ‘Bogey who scored first when Gareth Henry latched on to a through ball by Mervyn Nicholl and rounded the keeper to put the ball into the net.
Dervock hit back when Ryan Boyd scored a 25 yard free kick and ‘Bogey were caught again when Danny Holmes headed Dervock in front.
Ballybogey equalised when Henry scored the goal of the game, hammered the ball into the net via the bar from 30 yards.
In the second half ‘Bogey got there rewards for continuous pressure when Gareth Clyde put the ball into the net to put ‘Bogey 3-2 up.
Nicholas McCook sealed the points when he scored ‘Bogey’s fourth after a mix up in the Dervock defence.
This again was a good game of football for the big crowd and two good teams both giving everything to secure the league victory .
Ballybogey extended their lead at the top with the victory and with other challengers - including Ballycastle - dropping points it’s looking good for ‘Bogey to retain the title .
