Coleraine and District League round up

Ballycastle United 0 Dervock 3: This was a fantastic result for a hard working, physically strong and skilful Dervock team who completely controlled the match and deserved to leave Billy Watson pitch with three points. From the kick off it was all Dervock. The first goal was scored in the 17th minute and it was 2-0 ten minutes later when the Ballycastle defence couldn’t hold out against the constant probing from the Dervock frontline. It was 3-0 before half time. Ballycastle just couldn’t get into their stride in the first half with poor passing, poor tackling and failing to track back left the defence exposed time after time.

Things improved in the second half for Ballycastle but they never created a clear chance and will be disappointed with their performance today.
