Gary Taylor’s Portstewart threw themselves a life line on Tuesday night when they picked up three vital points at Wakehurst.

The Championship two strugglers put on a great display running out 2-0 winners at Mill Meadow.

Both goals were scored in the second half, the first by Johnny Stewart, and the second, a penalty scored by Ryan Doherty.

This Saturday, Portstewart welcome Queen’s, in what is another must win tie.
