THE Raceview v Rasharkin United Crawford Cup final will be played on the Main Arena Ballymena Showgrounds on Friday 11 March with a 7.45pm kick off.

Admittance to the ground will be via the Ecos Centre Area Car Park then through the Main Reception at the end of the Slemish side grandstand.

Kick off 7.45pm.

RESULTS - INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE

BRANTWOOD 3 V

RASHARKIN UNITED 1 V

0 KILBRIDE SWIFTS

This was a very close game between two evenly matched teams with chances to score being at a premium due to both defences being in good form.

The only goal in the game went to Rasharkin with Chris Barkley scoring on the 25th minute. Referee Mr. Noel Crossan

RACEVIEW 3 V

4 BALLYCASTLE UNITED

This was an excellent win for Ballycastle but a bad day at the office for Raceview.

Due to a traffic hold up Ballycastle kicked off with ten men and went behind when Andy Duncan shot Raceview in front on the 3rd minute. Raceview then had a few chances to extend their lead before Lee Watterson took control in midfield for Ballycastle who got on level terms after Conor McLister scored on the 40th minute.

After the break Ballycastle went two goals in front with Niall Campbell and Ronan Boyle scoring on the 52nd and 54th minutes. Raceview replied quickly to this getting on level terms with goals scored by Andy Duncan and David Tenant on the 55th and 67th minutes. After this both teams went for the winner which went to Ballycastle after Conor McLister scored his second goal in the game on the 74th minute. Referee Mr. Raymond Bigger

McREYNOLDS CUP 2nd ROUND

DESERTMARTIN 2 V 4 DUNLOY

This was a cracking cup tie with lots of good football played and goals to go with it.

Dunloy were much sharper around the goals than Desertmartin and took the lead after Declan McGarry scored on the 20th minute then added two more goals scored by Gerard Marron and Jonny McAleese on the 25th and 35th minutes.

Desertmartin hit back with two good goals scored by Mark Shiels and Andy Kelso on the 40th and 44th minute cutting the deficit at half-time to a single goal.

Dunloy hit Desertmartin with a killer goal when Benny McGarry scored on the 46th minute and though there were lots more chances no more goals were scored. Referee Mr. Mervyn McAleese

JUNIOR DIVISION ONE

BALLYMONEY UNITED RES 1 V 1 CARNINY AMATEURS

Carniny got off to a great start taking the lead on the 5th minute after Nicky McCartney converted a penalty kick.

After this both teams had chances to score before Neil Fleming scored the equaliser for Ballymoney on the 42nd minute.

The second half saw lots of chances created by both teams but the first-half goals saw the teams share the points at the end. Referee Mr. Martin Bellew

MOYOLA PARK OLYMPIC 0 V 6 GLEBE RANGERS RES

Glebe took the lead after Aaron Wallace scored on the 27th minute but Moyola then held them until half-time.

Gareth Henry scores a second goal for Glebe on the 48th minute followed by goals from Nigel Turner 75th, Neil McVicker 85th and two from Aaron Wallace to complete his hat-trick on the 87th and 89th minutes. Referee Mr. Steven Ferguson

FINVOY 1 V 4 MAGHERAFELT SKY BLUES RES

Both teams had a couple of chances to score before Mark Diamond scored the opening goal on the 28th minute which was followed by one scored by Michael McCormack on the 44th minute giving the Sky Blues a two nil half-time lead.

Finvoy pulled a goal back after Gareth Cairns scored on the 50th minute to give them hope of saving the game. The Sky Blues had other ideas and two goals scored by Tom Beattie and Jon Young on the 60th and 80th minutes killed Finvoy off. Referee Mr Gusty Crawford
