Eventing Ireland returns to Finvoy

AFTER last year’s very successful event at Dirraw Farm, Finvoy, Eventing Ireland will return on Saturday April 27.

The Events, which are organised by Eventing Ireland, cover the three main equestrian disciplines of dressage, show jumping and cross country.

Last year’s Event at Dirraw Farm was well supported both by local and international riders such as Trevor and Steven Smith who have both represented Ireland at Olympic and European level, as well as Jayne Doherty who was short-listed for the 2012 Olympic Games.

These high level eventers, amongst others, are expected to be participating again this year, and all spectators are welcome; admission is free. It will be a great day out for all the family.

A Go-as-you-please will also be held at Dirraw Farm on Sunday April 28, which will include the flagged Eventing Ireland course from the previous day and a range of new jumps for the 2013 season will also be available. The Go-as-you-please will run from 10am to 4pm.

For more information on either the Event on the 27th April, or the Go-as-you-please, see www.dirrawfarm.co.uk or search for Dirraw Farm Equestrian on Facebook.
