Fourteen daring participants are being shipped off to Rathlin Island from 14th- 16th August where there skills and sense of adventure will be tested to the full.

The Castaways have all been set a mission to raise at least £500 per person prior to the event. Each participant will have sponsor sheets and ‘Just Giving’ pages.

So far the itinery set out for the Castaways is:

FRIDAY

Meet at the Promenade Cafe at Ballycastle Seafront on the Friday evening to have the ‘Last Supper’ before setting sail to Rathlin on the last boat. Once they have disembarked they willhave to pitch their tents.

SATURDAY

There are three challenges which will take place, all of which will be recorded.

The videos of the challenges will be screened in Hunters bar on Saturday night. At this stage it will allow everyone to see how all the castaways are all doing and it will give them a chance to vote for their favourites.

Following the return of all Castaways a BBQ/ Disco will take place on Sunday night where the Carey Castaway King or Queen will be announced. Voting can continue to take place right up until Sunday night.
