Ballymoney Cycling Club Biesty’s Centra Youth team riders Finn Sands Robinson, Andrew Allen, Shay Donley, Liam McAuley, Scott Donley, Kevin McCambridge and the Club’s newest and very promising talent schoolgirl Meabh Flannaghan were in action at the Errigal Youth League in Donegal.

Liam McAuley and Scott Donley were off with the group that saw last year’s Irish champion Odhran Doogan getting ready for another year of hard riding which is the young pugilists trait with no mercy asked no mercy given attitude.

The under 16’s is an area were Ballymoney Cycling Club have a very strong group and just getting introduced were last year’s U14 medal winners Shay Donley and Kevin McCambridge both with learning experiences to look back on.

The best performance of the day saw new Ballymoney Cycling Club signing, Andrew Allen get third place behind Irish champion Adam Ward from Omagh.

This is just the start of a long season and the Ballymoney Cycling Club riders will be travelling both north and south for the next seven months.

Reports on their progress will be covered each week.
