The prestigious Danske Bank Ulster Colleges 2015 All Stars Presentation Banquet took place on Friday 27th March in the Grand Ballroom of the Europa Hotel, Belfast and Cross and Passion hurlers Ciaran Butler and Tiarnan Butler were amongst those honoured when they received All Star awards.

This is yet another great accolade for the Ballycastle School as players are selected over the course of two trial games after being initially nominated by their own schools.

The scheme rewards excellence in skill and in sportsmanship.

The school’s Captain Paddy Jo Graham also took to the stage to be presented with the Mageean Cup which the hurlers won in October.

They will be hoping to repeat their earlier success and bring more silverware back from Navan this weekend when they aim to lift the All-Ireland
title.

Cross and Passion earned their place and the favourites tag when they defeated St Joseph’s Tulla (1-10 to 0-12) at the end of March to set up a battle with Mountrath Community School in Semple Stadium, Thurles on Saturday 4th April.

A large travelling contingent will make the long journey to support the lads in their bid to lift the Masita GAA All-Ireland Senior B Hurling Paddy
Buggy Cup
