BALLYMONEY United Reserves banged in a stunning 12 goals in two games this week to keep control of second place in the league.
On Saturday it was 3rd Ballyclare Old Boys who were on the receiving end of an 8-3 hammering.

But the Old Boys took the lead early in the first half but then conceded five goals to go in at half-time four goals behind.

The Old Boys started the second half well and scored tow more goals to cut the deficit to two goals but Ballymoney had other ideas scoring four more goals without reply.

The Ballymoney scorers were Chris McGaughey (3), Brendan Kirgan (3), Steven Lyons and Chris McCaughan.

In midweek, Ballymoney beat FC Ballynure 4-3 away from home and had a 1-1 draw at home to Ballycastle United Reserves in the cup.
