THE weekend competition at the Brown Trout was for the Spanboard Cup, played in stableford format.
In a low scoring game Club Hon. Secretary Robert Orr (10) won with 38 points.
With 17 after nine Robert played the back nine scoring seven pars and bogies at the 12th and 18th holes for a further 21 points.
This gave him a one shot winning mar
gin from three other players all scoring 37 points.
After the enforcement of the tiebreak it was David Wilson (19) with nines of 17 and 20 took the runner-up prize just edging Aaron Mooney (14) out of the prizes on last six holes with David scoring 13 against Aarons 12.
Tom Boyd (12) also finished on 37 points with nines of 20 and 17.
The twos kitty was shared by J.Legge and A.Mooney
The Thursday 18 hole sweep was won by David Milliken (19) with a great score of 45 points.
Runner-up with 41 points was Seamus Doherty (15)
Third prize went to Ronnie Milliken (7) with 40 points.
