NIGEL and Ryan Craig from Ballymoney are set to become the first ever father and son combination to represent Northern Ireland at the world pool championships.
The talented pair are joined by fellow town potters, Billy Moore Junior and young Chris Cunningham, who has made quite a name for himself on a snooker table in recent years.

The Ballymoney foursome set off for Blackpool in the North West of England on Sunday where they will be playing with and against players from 15 countries across the globe.
There is a whopping prize fund of £40,000 for the competition, which is run by the governing body NIEBPF.

The action gets underway for the local lads on Sunday night in the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool and confidence levels are set at quietly high approaching the competition.
This is Chris' first appearance in the world pool championships but Nigel, Ryan and Billy have all acquitted themselves well in previous years.

All four will compete in their respective individual competitions, as well as a team for Northern Ireland.
In the Men's draw, Ryan Craig will meet Videsh Sabharwal from India in the opening round, Billy has Irish opposition in the form of Bernard Finnigan while Nigel will play a qualifier in the First Round proper.

In the Junior World Masters, Chris plays Stephen Rafferty, a teenager from Scotland, in his opening match.
Best of luck to all the local lads in the competition in Blackpool.
