THE weekend competition at Brown Trout Golf Club was the Queen Mothers Cup qualifier in support of the charity Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Mark Millen (16) won with a grand total of 40 points and he will represent the club at Malone Golf Club on September 14 in the area finals.

les.
Runner-up Ronnie Milliken (7) two points adrift on 38 points with nines of 18 and 20. The twos kitty was shared by Jimmy Kelly and Maurice Torrington.
The Thursday 18-hole sweep was won by Donal Mulholland (1) with a winning total of 39 points.
Donal was in top form over the first nine with the highlights birdies at holes 2, 8 and 9 giving him 22 front nine score, and with the help of another birdie at the 14th he added another 17.
Paddy Kelly (7) finished runner-up with 37 points, with the help of birdies at the 1st and 8th he had 21 points at the turn before adding 16. David Wilson (19) and Ronnie Milliken (7) both scored 35 points with David taking the third prize with a better back nine. D.Mulholland won the twos kitty with two twos.
This Saturday, William McLaughlin hosts his Captain's Day. All visitors are welcome. Members are reminded to return all tickets for the Captains Day Raffle.
