THIS was another great week in the history of Dunloy Football Club.
Charlie Scott's side made it another cup final when they beat Desertmartin in the semi-finals of the McReynold's Cup on Thursday.
And they are also going well in the O'Gorman Cup, thanks to a 1-0 win over table-topping Mosside.
The only black s
pot in their seven days was a 2-1 reverse in the league at Raceview on Saturday.
But they can look forward to revenge for that one on a much bigger stage when the two teams meet in the cup final at the Riada Stadium next month.
Dunloy got there thanks to a fine display at home to Chris Peacock's Desertmartin on Thursday evening.
Desertmartin actually took the lead in the 15th minute through a penalty converted by Mark Junkin.
But Dunloy equalised when Gerard Marron scored in the 40th minute, then goals scored by Benny McGarry in the 53rd minute and Steven Scullion in the 80th minute booked Dunloy a place in the final.
Marron was again on target for Dunloy on Saturday when he cancelled out Raceview's first half strike. But it wasn't enough as Ricky McClean popped up with five minutes to go to secure the three points for 'View.
