BALLYMONEY woman, Pat Elliot, celebrated her 60th birthday earlier this month and sacrificed gifts for donations to charity.
Big-hearted Pat held the event in the Royal British Legion clubrooms in the town and ended up raising £600 for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Family and friends dug deep and the result was a delight for all concerned.

Pat’s birthday party took place on Sunday, May 3, and included an array of entertainment for all of her family and friends.

The evening was a great success and the money used will be put to excellent use at the Children’s Hospice.

There are over 250 children in Northern Ireland who have life-limiting conditions.

It costs around £100 for a night of care for one of our children so every penny counts and we rely heavily on the support of individuals like Pat and those who attended the event to raise funds.

A special thank you to the British Legion’s Club for the venue and to everyone who donated!
