WHEN members of the Ferris family in Ballymoney were planning to celebrate their father's 80th birthday, they wanted to make the occasion special.
No better way to do so than have ALL the family present and that meant getting one of the members home from Canada.
On Sunday night, the gathering at the Causeway Hotel, Bushmills, was complete with the presence of Trevor who is now living in Canada.
Trevor joined brothers Mervyn and Campbell and wives to mark the occasion.
Mr. Ferris, a respected member of the community, who lives at Trinity Drive, Ballymoney, was delighted that all his family could be present - it made the night just that bit more special for him and his wife.
