LAST week the Ballymoney and Moyle Times office was joined by a work experience pupil from Ballycastle High School.
Kellie explained: "The aim was for me to grasp an insight into the career that I feel I may choose as my next path in life - journalism.
"This aim was met as I got the opportunity to observe and experience first hand local journalism.
"My time saw me working with some of the general public and listening to their stories, typing stories into the database and exploring how the paper actually comes together. I became very interested in the whole atmosphere.
"I enjoyed my time as everyone was very helpful, and were willing to answer any questions that I had about the career in general.
"My week was very beneficial to me as before, I was only thinking of studying journalism as my next step. But now I feel sure that it is a career that I would feel happy in.
"I would like to thank all involved at the Ballymoney Times for giving me this great opportunity and making my week as enjoyable as possible. "
