“The death of a loved one is extremely difficult and even more so when the loved one is a baby or a child. The Snowdrop Walk is intended as another remembrance opportunity for families and relatives who have suffered a loss during pregnancy or the death of a child.

Parents and relatives will have the opportunity to plant a snowdrop bulb in memory of their loved one in a designated area within the castle grounds”.

Gates open at 1.00pm with a welcome, dedication and poem recital at 2.00pm. Bulb planting will take place between 2.15pm and 3.15pm.

Light refreshments will be served in the castle grounds restaurant.

There is no charge for the event and affected families within or treated by the Trust are very welcome.
