This year marks the 104th anniversary of Kennedy Kane McArthur’s gold medal win for South Africa at the 1912 Olympic Marathon and to mark the occasion the organisers have designed a bespoke medal for all the finishers in the Half Marathon. Both races start and finish in the village with the Half Marathon taking the runners through the famous Dark Hedges.

Entry forms are available at local Leisure Centres or you can enter online on the Athletics NI website https://online.athleticsni.org/ps/event/KennedyKaneFestivalofRunning.
