Balmoral success for Kilraughts

Five members of Kilraughts YFC took part in the girls 5-a-side football competition.
Balormal Show Success for Kilraughts 
Five members of Kilraughts Young Farmers Club, Hannah Kirkpatrick, Amy Kirkpatrick, Diane Ramsay, Erinn Ramsay and Claire Ramsay, took part in the girls 5-a-side football competition. The girls won all their matches during the heats which took place at Greenmount College, this ensured them a place in the finals at Balmoral Show. At Balmoral the girls played 3 tough games to get in to the finals where they faced Randalstown Young Farmer. Again this was a challenging game however, good teamwork from Kilraughts ended with Diane Ramsay scoring the winning goal before the final whistle. 
On Thursday at Balmoral, Kilraughts boys: David Jamison, Jonny Bartlett, Paul Bartlett, Ricky Elliot, Colin Henry and Ryan Millar took part in a very popular tug of war competition, in total 35 teams took part. Kilraughts showed great determination but were unfortunate not to get through to the finals.Balormal Show Success for Kilraughts
