Work in progress at Joey Dunlop Centre

The changing rooms at the Astroturf pitch at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre are in a bad state of repair, Ballymoney Council have acknowledged.

A recent meeting heard that prices are being obtained for plumbing and electrical services which will assist the main users - the hockey team.

Meanwhile, councillors were told that work is progressing well with the refurbishment of the changing rooms and toilets in the Leisure Centre and that everything is on schedule to be completed on time by mid-December.

Every effort is being made to keep disruption to customers to a minimum.

It has also been revealed that the swimming pool will close for planned maintenance on November 13 and will re-open again on January 2.
