Ulster Unionist Minister, Danny Kennedy has announced a decrease in NI Water charges by an average of 4%.
The reduction will take place from 1 April 2014 and is the second year in a row that charges have fallen. Last year tariffs for non-domestic customers dropped by 2.5%.
Darryl Wilson added: “In these harsh economic times, a reduction in one of your utility bills will be benificial to not only the agricultural industry , but also local commerce.”
This reduction has been made possible by NI Water’s success in making improvements in efficiency. I want to congratulate the staff and management on their continuing efforts to assist their 90,000 non-domestic customers by keeping costs low.”
