The Ullans Centre is delighted to announce that they will be celebrating Robert Burns with an event in the centre this Friday 24th January between 11am and 1pm.
Everyone is welcome to call in when you are in the town doing your shopping.
The centre will have traditional Ulster-Scots music performances from Scad the Beggar, while a piper will also be present to pipe in the Haggis. Alan Wright will be doing the address to the Haggis along with reading some of Burns works and you can find out more about who Robert Burns was and why he’s an important figure in Scotland and with the Ulster-Scots.
Light refreshments will also be available with haggis pies, shortbread, tea/coffee.
Best of all the event is free so if your about the town and fancy trying Haggis Pie just drop in.
The event is supported by Ballymoney Borough Council Good Relations Programme.
