Twisted fairytale at the Riverside

A twisted fairy tale comes to the Riverside!

The fabulous Stephen Sondheim Musical, Into The Woods - currently, a major movie starring Johnny Depp and Gavin and Stacey’s James Corden - will be staged at the Coleraine theatre nightly at 8pm from Wednesday,May 27 to Saturday, May 30.

The wonderful show is presented by the students of Northern Lights, the Northern Regional College theatre company that previously brought you the much-acclaimed Les Miserables.

Once upon a time, the island of Ireland was a great, big forest. The old folk say that a squirrel could have travelled from Coleraine to Cultra without its little feet ever once touching the ground!

This was just as well, for the forest was very dangerous place, as the cast of Into The Woods is about to find out.

A Baker and his Wife are cursed by a Witch. To break the spell, they must pilfer the magical items that will satisfy the Witch.

The problem is that these items are owned by Prince Charming, Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Jack of the Beanstalk fame.

Just when everyone`s deepest wishes appear to be coming true, disaster strikes. The characters must work together to escape total destruction - in the depths of the Woods.

Be sure not to miss the magical transformation and bewitching beauty of Into the Woods!

Tickets are priced £12 and can purchased from tickets.riversidetheatre.org.uk
